Development of a multi-material 3D printing model based on the FRep approach.
The Constructive Hypervolume Model was proposed by Alexander Pasko for modeling heterogeneous objects using function representation approach. This model includes the volumetric material distribution as non-uniform gradually varying materials with density gradient and Multi-scale microstructures. Example of multi-material object is shown on Figure 1.

FRepCAM allows to slice FRep multi-material models and get a set of layers for 3D printing directly (Figure 2).
