Radmir Karamov became a holder of the double PhD degree
This week Skoltech witnessed a superb outcome of collaboration with KU Leuven, Belgium. The agreement on joint supervision of a PhD student was carefully facilitated and signed for Radmir Karamov back in 2020.
On October 23rd, 2023 Radmir became a holder of the double PhD degree from Skoltech and KU Leuven. The joint defense took place at Skoltech.
Radmir conducted his research on machine learning enhancement of micro-CT based micromechanics of composite materials as part of the double degree agreement. The research project was supervised by professors Ivan Sergeichev, Stepan Lomov (KU Leuven) and Yentl Swolfs (KU Leuven).
Radmir became the ninth Skoltech PhD student defending a doctoral thesis within joint procedure with an international university.
