First PhD Thesis Defence at "Mathematics and Mechanics"

On September 21st Evgeny Iakovlev defended his thesis titled "Multiscale modeling of graphene nanobubbles", Supervisors: Professor Iskander Akhatov, Skoltech, Dr. Petr Zhilyaev, Skoltech. 

Evgeny has become the first defended PhD of the CMT Program "Mathematics and Mechanics". The examination committee members were  Professor Nikolay Brilliantov, Skoltech (Chairman), Associate Professor  Aslan Kasimov, Skoltech, Professor Nikolaus Adams, Technical University of Munich, Germany, Dr. Denis Bandurin, MIT, USA, Dr. Ekaterina Khestanova, ICFO (The Institute of Photonic Sciences), Spain.
